So, two eppendorfs walk into a bar...

One acrylamide molecule says to the other, 'how was last night's date?'
His mate replies, 'I dunno, we just didn't gel'.

Well, they always said laughter is the best medicine. Now studies have determined that it's good cardiovascular exercise. You know what I say to that? Ha! That's right, ha! I bet those scientists think they're pretty funny. I can just see them, smirking into the sleeves of their lab coats ... "Hey, doc, get this! A health spa called The Laughing Fit!" Sure, you can believe them if you want to, but I was born a skeptic, and I'll die a skeptic. If I die.

I saw this cartoon in Punch years and years ago. Two dinosaurs. A big, dopey-looking one is standing athwart a slowly widening crack in the ground. A smaller, brighter-looking one says: "You'd better make your mind up soon - the continents are beginning to drift apart".
Is this the beginning of the end of the middle of the end? Or is it merely the end of the beginning of the end of the middle of the end? - Boris Johnson

Two hypotheses are chatting. One says, "you know, I'm not feeling very well."
The other one says, "Really? Maybe it's swine flu."
"You really think so?"
"I don't know - you better get tested."

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. Tip your waitresses and try the chicken.

OMG. Make it stop.

p.s. Burl, that's an interesting website, I didn't know it existed. I wonder what Abbott Labs gets out of producing it? Also funny how every single model has safety goggles on. They must be from my institute.
